District Magistrate ( F& R), Shri Ghanshyam ,SDM Sadar, Shri Tripathi Jee AIG Regsitration, Shri M.K.Singh, STO Kanpur Dehat & other various senior officers were present.
Taking information from the Government sector is really very tough. Now there is a small hope for the general public. Still hope is there. I repeat hope is there and why not still the computers can deliver its best services for the mass without any bias. Things are changing very fast and Government is also keeping track of the changes in the environment. Here to cope with the changes government has decided to put up a small touch screen kiosk (ukxfjd lwpuk dsUn) by which a lot of services can be imparted/delivered to the general public. These services are actually a bundle of services packed into one system. It can be operated by any person without any prior training, to get the required information. The Kiosk is dedicated to the vke vkneh of the district of Kanpur Dehat. Any person can enter the kiosk and search for the information by his own fingers by touching the screen of computer. In order to get the information, the user has to keep on touching the screen. There is no need of keyboard or mouse for the selection of various items on the screen.
The
kiosk provides various options on the main screen. The user touches the option
and the option is selected. The operation is very simple and can be operated by
anyone ranging from 6 to 60 years of age. As the user touches the option it
gets selected and the information is displayed at the main screen. The options
it provides are as follows.

After successful implementation of the project, It will create the delivery of bundle of services to the mass. It is also to be noted that the person/user don’t have to have any training of the operation of the computer but the main screen is designed in such a fashion that the user will keep on touching the screen for the information. In future, more and more services will be added to this kiosk and more users will enter in the kiosk and use the facility provided by District Administration of Kanpur Dehat & National Informatics Center, Kanpur Dehat. This will certainly create a good picture of District Administration among the rural mass of Kanpur Dehat.
In first go the kiosk will provide following print services to the mass
Total =
9050 average persons

Above are monthly average figures and soon more and more services will be added to the above listed services.
In future more services will be added to the Kiosk with the help of departments like DRDA, Basic Education, Health etc. The data for this kiosk, will be provided by the different user departments of Kanpur Dehat.
The tourism sector for Kanpur Dehat can be enhanced by the use of this kiosk. Many persons don’t know about different places of interest in Kanpur Dehat. This kiosk at present is providing the important places of interest and soon other features will be added to this Kiosk. This Kiosk will provide old as well as new places of interest for the general public of Kanpur Dehat.
Small pity but important information is there in the Kiosk as “What is total Population of the district?” or “How many Divisions are there in Uttar Pradesh?” etc. People run around to different seats to get these, important information now this kiosk will provide these, important information at the fingertips.
Its inherited advantage that it is very convenient
to use. HOW? Just keep on touching the screen and you get the information.
In future more kiosk will be setup at the tehsil level as well as at the block level. The concept is great and it will really give help to the rural mass population of Kanpur Dehat. It has a feedback system by which more n more things/services can be added to this system on request.
